Task #5: 
Create your own system
for measuring angles

1)    Work with a partner and create your own system for measuring angles. 

 

2)   
Be sure to give your system a name and tell what the measures are for important angles (0, 45, 90, 135, 180, 225, 270, 315, and 360 degrees).  You may want to organize this in a table.  Include angles that are multiples of 30 for extra credit.

 

3)   
Provide a brief explanation of how to convert between your systems and degrees and your system and radians?  Is one more natural than the other?

 

4)   
What are the advantages and disadvantages to using your system over that of degrees or radians?
